Antarctica Cruise - The Peninsula
Clipper Adventurer, December 2009
I would definitely book future trips with you and highly recommend ExpeditionTrips! I thought the trip was well organized and I felt equipped with all of the right knowledge before coming on the trip. The staff, crew, excursions, scenery, wildlife, and activities on this expedition were all truly memorable and unique. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and truly made the experience great. The crew is also exceptional. They went out of their way to help people who were not feeling well and wanted to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. The only improvement I can think of would be more excursion options (i.e. kayaking, etc).

Antarctica Cruise – The Peninsula
Clipper Adventurer, February 2009
Working with Shelley and Emily was great. I don't work with a travel agency very often and I was a little skeptical at first since it was also online, but things went very smooth and I always got quick responses. My husband wanted to go to Antarctica so I started to look at the end of the year and found a great rate with Expedition Trips. We have been on every continent and this was our last big hurrah! The most memorable part of the expedition for me ... well was basically everything! If I had to pick something it would be hiking up a mountain to a 360 degree view of Antarctica and a penguin colony at the top of the mountain. It was just so unreal. (more)

Prince Albert II, January 2010
You were most helpful and I could not have asked for more. I really appreciated your prompt replies to our emails especially since we are in totally different time zones—every minute counts! I will definitely look into other trips that ExpeditionTrips offers. This trip exceeded all my expectations. The level of service was as very good, from the expedition team to our butler—just as good as on the other Silversea ship that I was on. If anything, this being a smaller ship, it's even better. In fact, I particularly enjoyed the history lectures given on board.

My experience working with ExpeditionTrips was absolutely positive and I will book future trips with you. I was especially impressed by the knowledgeable staff and the "hands on" approach you took. I was able to call several times and ask questions about what to expect on the ship and prepare accordingly. I'd also like to mention that I received excellent service from the outdoor expedition supplier you recommended as well. The people there were very helpful. I did not expect the amazing service I experienced from Silversea, and it truly isn't possible that it could have been improved upon. I don't have words to describe my appreciation for their work. Prince Albert II, November 2008
Our trip to Antarctica exceeded all of our expectations, and there wasn’t much to improve. It was probably our best trip ever! (and we have been traveling extensively since 1970). Our experience working with ExpeditionTrips was positive, and we will definitely book future trips with you again. We will also travel with Silversea again if we get the opportunity. Antarctica was always on our dream list, so when Richard's 70th and the Prince Albert II coincided we decided this was it! (more)

Working with ExpeditionTrips was very positive and my program manager was very helpful throughout the whole process. I would book future trips with you again. The staff, guides, and crew were exceptional. The captain and the whole expedition team provided a true adventure. This trip went well beyond my wildest expectations. It was beyond description! This was an amazing trip and everything was done right. I would not know how this trip could be improved. You guys did a good job. I wish I had a little more advance notice on all the finalities of the trip, but then that is because I left a little earlier than everyone else. The captain and crew are astonishingly brilliant, naturalists are extremely knowledgeable and Antarctica brings it all together for an unforgettable experience. If I decide to go into the freezer again, I will strongly consider a repeat visit on the National Geographic Endeavor. I'd love a trip to the pole, maybe even an extension to the Ross Sea, but I have not one complaint and only praises for the entire trip. (more)

There is no way Joy could have done better. We felt she was doing her utmost for us and we are very much impressed by this. Our only way to communicate with Joy was over the Internet and she was fantastic at responding as soon as I had the smallest of questions and we got everything we asked for!!! ... and more! People onboard the Endeavour were impressed that we had bought our trip over the Internet from an agent in Seattle. But gosh, it was like Joy was our neighbor. We got to be friends!!! (more)

My experience was very positive. The organization on the ship was great in getting us on and off the zodiacs in such great speed, always having a zodiac available if someone wanted to go back to the ship early and always having a back-up plan if the first was not available. My experience with ExpeditionTrips was fabulous and Joy was wonderful. The staff, guides and crew were so helpful and knowledgeable. The only improvement would be to get us a list of more details about the ship, internet etc. a little earlier. The service was fabulous. The crew and staff on the ship are too fabulous for words, so polite and accommodating. They were just superb. The trip exceeded my expectations. It was worth every penny and then some. It was simply fabulous and truly a trip of a lifetime. I don't think any trip could be better. (more)

Antarctica Cruise – The Peninsula - Adventure Options
Polar Pioneer, November 2009
This trip definitely exceeded my expectations and I am really happy that I did it! Working with ExpeditionTrips was a positive experience and I especially appreciated the quick replies with several options and useful tips. I chose the Polar Pioneer because of the adventure options and the most memorable part of the trip for me was when we, the kayakers, landed on an iceberg and had a little party. ExpeditionTrips did a very nice job in preparing my trip. Everyone at the office was courteous and helpful. I am still walking on clouds! The trip was absolutely awesome!! You definitely picked the right ship and group for us. The champagne awaiting us in our room was top-notch treatment - thank you! Greg, our expedition leader was the best - we are all in awe of all of his accomplishments and all of his staff as well. We even made some Russian friendships, too. I took video while Carol took stills. We met and bonded with a group of Aussie, UK, NZ friends and we're even planning a reunion trip to Australia next January. Thanks again for everything.

Polar Star, December 2009
Our trip was amazing! We want to say thanks to everyone at ExpeditionTrips for helping our trip be the very best Honeymoon in the history of great Honeymoons! Every aspect that ExpeditionTrips helped us with ran SO smoothly – easy, well planned travel down and back and our gear was perfect! Our guides onboard the Polar Star were great – fun and enthusiastic. It was my husband’s dream to take this trip, I went along begrudgingly, and it turned out to be the best trip of my life! The best part was Christmas Eve dinner which was a BBQ on the deck of the ship, in 60 degree weather, with icebergs in the background. Shelley and Emily are amazing and very, very helpful and attentive. We learned about ExpeditionTrips from a friend who had booked his Antarctic cruise with you and I would recommend your fast and intelligent service to anyone!

I wanted to see penguins in their natural environment and go to a place unlike any other place on earth and this trip WAY exceeded my expectations! The staff and crew provided excellent service. They were very knowledgeable and if they didn't know the answer to something they would research and follow up with an answer. The lectures were informative and interesting and the guides were at our service on zodiac cruises and landings. If there was a wildlife sighting, the Captain would alter course so that we could enjoy the experience. The food was very good and plentiful, I am a vegetarian, and there was a wide variety of choices for me at every meal.

Ashton saved our honeymoon! I've been telling everyone that Expedition Trips is the best travel agency I contacted. Phone calls were always promptly returned and everything was just as it was promised. The staff was excellent, and each staff member provided an area of expertise. The lectures were full of good information and our questions were always answered. We both wanted to do something unique for our honeymoon, plus we wanted to see all seven continents. The most memorable part of the trip was the wildlife and the perfectly clean air. The rooms on the ship could be updated with better bedding, but overall, we feel we got what we paid for. The trip fully met our expectations.

Working with ExpeditionTrips was very positive because they are consummate professionals. We would book again with you. We had very high expectations and those were exceeded because of the staff, the vessel and crew, and the cuisine (which was a major surprise) that all contributed to the total experience. ExpeditionTrips was fantastic and had to put up with a lot of grief from me up to the date of the trip. Thank you! It was, quite honestly, the best experience I have ever had. I have backpacked all over the world and never seen, nor experienced, anything like it. Working with Expedition Trips was absolutely a positive experience and I would definitely use you again. The communication was great, very proactive, and the materials provided were exceptional. We were delighted with the hotel you arranged for us in Argentina – it had a great location and amenities, at a reasonable price. Also, the transfers were always early and never failed to show up. Overall, the trip exceeded my expectations, I cannot think of any way to improve it. All of the guides were excellent and the expedition leader was very good about always keeping us advised as to what was happening well in advance. Expedition Trips has been an excellent travel partner, from our initial inquiry, through ongoing questions and arrangements, and with supportive services. For instance, many folks on board the ship who went through other agents didn't get the wildlife information card that we got. We would not hesitate to book future vacations with ExpeditionTrips. You excelled at tracking down answers to every question and making us feel that nothing within reasonable control would go wrong. We had long entertained the idea of going to Antarctica, but when Mike started adding continents to his passport, he realized he had just two to go: South America and Antarctica. This trip completed his quest. Based on our internet research, we were confident in our selection of a Quark expedition and we weren't disappointed. The trip was great all around -- the scenery, the accommodations, the staff, the arrangements and our fellow travelers. I can't say that we would change a thing about the trip as provided. (more)

Thank you for arranging my trip to Antarctica so efficiently, Ashton! Many fellow passengers were very envious of the advance notice I received about rental of clothes and of my laminated wildlife sheet! You came across to everyone as THE travel agent for this particular adventure, and I was glad to recommend you. I wear the cap with pride! It was, of course, a stupendous trip! Just got back yesterday---the best trip and experience ever!!! Words are inadequate...the best trip and experience ever!!! Words are inadequate...We had a whale encounter in the zodiac that would have made the whole trip worthwhile. (more)

I would definitely book with ExpeditionTrips.com again. April at ExpeditionTrips.com is wonderful! EVERYTHING was exactly as explained. In talking with the other passengers, I knew what was happening, or going to happen; I was far more informed and prepared than some of the other passengers. My experience -- planning, getting my questions answered, making arrangements -- was excellent! Planning the trip makes it a success or a bust. Given that, while I have a good amount of time that I can travel, I do not have as much time as I would like to plan things. Having a pro help solved that problem. (more)

I really didn't know very much about ExpeditionTrips.com as a company, but what I do know now is that my Program Manager is the most pleasant person that I have ever had the pleasure of planning a trip with. I always felt that she was being honest and looking out for my best interest, and I would definitely book future trips with her. The trip was fantastic!! Seeing minke whales swim directly under our Zodiac several times was a definite highlight. The staff is what made the trip truly exceptional. They provided a great personal touch by having a story of some kind to go along with everything that we saw. (more)

I am using this way to communicate with you rather than running up your phone bill. Virgil and I were greatly surprised to receive the bottle of wine. Thank you very much! We spaced it out over two evenings, supplemented with crackers I had brought from home. The trip was a resounding success for both of us. Loved the zodiac trips and the four research stations. (more)

ExpeditionTrips.com helped me find the perfect trip to Antarctica. They saved me $900 and I got a single cabin. The trip was so amazing — the best I have ever been on. It changed my life!
